Grand County Pet Pals is able to provide financial assistance for spaying or neutering pets in Grand County, Colorado. We are able to do this through the generous donations of people in our community, through fund raising activities and grants. We do not receive state or federal funding. Due to limited resources, we strive to provide assistance to those in greatest need.  For more information on why spaying and neutering are so important, please click here.

IF YOU NEED FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE in spaying or neutering your animal, please fill out our form – click here for the Online Financial Assistance Form OR click here to print the Financial Assistance Form and bring it by the shelter. The form needs to be turned in at least a week before the surgery and the voucher can NOT be picked up on the same day of surgery. Voucher needs to be in hand when you walk into the vet.

MICROCHIPPING is a valuable way to keep pets out of shelters.  If an animal is lost or stolen, it has a much greater chance of being returned if it has a chip.  Pet Pals, with the help of local veterinarians, periodically holds low-cost microchipping clinics.
