ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS
One of the main goals of the Grand County Animal Shelter and Grand County Pet Pals is to attempt to find each unique animal a home. All animals will have been spayed or neutered. Adoption fees range from $45 to $83 and include rabies vaccine and county tags. The difference in the fees charged depends upon whether an animal comes in with current rabies and/or county tags. If the animal has tags, the cost is less.
Grand County Pet Pals also has a SENIOR ADOPTION PROGRAM. This program allows for lower to no fee and applies to both senior citizens adopting animals and to anyone adopting a senior animal. If you are interested in a senior adoption of either kind, please call the Shelter for information about the fees.
