Colorado Gives Day

Colorado Gives Day is Tuesday, December 9th and you can schedule your donations between November 1st and December 9th!

This year we have a goal of raising $50,000 through Colorado Gives Day, between now and December 9, 2025, to use for the construction of a new shelter building in Granby. Click here to donate today!

Every donation made through ColoradoGives.org is boosted by The Incentive Fund, which increases the value of every dollar donated. For example, if we receive 10% of the total donations made on Colorado Gives Day, we receive 10% of The Million Incentive Fund.

• Medical care and vaccinations for the animals in the shelter costs us around $12,000. If 100 people contribute $120 we can cover this expense in 2026!
• A donation of $150 allows Pet Pals to provide one spay/neuter voucher to local pet owners in need.
• Maintenance of the Bark Park in Granby is estimated at $2,000/year. Any amount will help to continue the services of the Bark Park!
• Help us expand our shelter dog training program! We are looking to hire a second dog trainer at $240/week. Dog training is essential in finding the shelter dogs their forever home.
• The shelter has operated at its present location for over 25 years. The lease of the current Animal Shelter cannot be renewed due to expansion of the Sanitation Department. With the support of the community, Grand County Pet Pals is seeking to raise funds for the construction costs of the new shelter building. We are currently building the new Animal Shelter and need to raise $200,000-$300,000 to meet our goal. Any size donation will make sure all Grand County animals have a loving and safe shelter to stay in while they wait to be adopted by their forever family.
