You can utilize Facebook’s Fundraiser tools to start a Fundraiser and select Grand County Pet Pals as the nonprofit to support. Here’s a summary of two ways to do it.
How to set up a Facebook Fundraiser:
1. Log into Facebook:
- Open your Facebook account on your computer or mobile device.
2. Find the Fundraiser Option:
- Desktop: Look for the “Fundraisers” option in the left-hand sidebar.
- Mobile:
- Open the Facebook app.
- Tap the menu button (three horizontal lines).
- Scroll down and tap “Fundraisers” or search for it if you don’t see it
3. Choose a Nonprofit:
- Select a nonprofit organization you want to support. You can search for a specific organization or browse through categories like health, education, or disaster relief.
4. Create Your Fundraiser:
- Title: Give your fundraiser a clear and concise title that reflects the cause.
- Description: Write a heartfelt message explaining why you’re raising money for the chosen nonprofit.
- Set a Goal: Determine a realistic fundraising goal.
- Add a Photo: Choose an image that represents your cause or the nonprofit.
- Set an End Date: Specify when you want the fundraiser to end.
5. Share Your Fundraiser:
- Once you’ve created your fundraiser, share it with your friends and family on Facebook.
- Encourage them to donate and share your fundraiser with their networks.
How to set up a Birthday Fundraiser on Facebook:

- Around your birthday, Facebook might prompt you to set up a fundraiser. Look for a notification or a suggestion on your News Feed.
